Highly recommend stopping in here! Great atmosphere, food is 10/10. Bri helped us pick our breakfast sandwiches and she gave us more information on the place and history of the restaurant! They also opened a location in Waldo, which is a huge hit and we will definitely be visiting.

Anytime i come back to Gainesville, I try to find a new spot for a Cuban sandwich. Found The Paper Bag online with great reviews and dropped by to check it out. Atmosphere is great. Laid back, welcoming, plenty of AC. Service is friendly and fast. I grabbed a Cuban as placed, then came back the next morning for a turkey ciabatta special. Highly recommend.

I am probably one of the biggest fans ever of paper bag. I have been there around 30 times and tried almost every sandwich on the menu. They are the best sandwiches I have ever had and I also love their daily specials. I normally go during lunch and sometimes the wait is long (15-20 mins) but it is so worth it. My favorite sandwiches are #8 (Jean-Claude Vane) and #11 (Tre Way Jay). But there is not a single sandwich I have tried that I haven’t enjoyed. If you go for breakfast get #1 the French Toastwich that is also absolutely amazing. I also recommend getting the godfather size.

I have been wanting to come here and it was well worth the wait!!! I ordered the Blue Lagoon Hot on a croissant with tomatoes. My daughter ordered the Man in Black Hat. The food was made fresh and it was quick to get out. The flavors were amazing, the portions were enough for a hungry person but not so much that you walk out feeling over stuffed. Pricing was reasonable for the size, freshness and quality of the sandwich. I have seen ads for this restaurant and I am so glad I finally made it. I’ll definitely be back.

The paper bag is something special from their incredible social media presence to multiple locations across Gainesville serving up delicious sandwiches for the people. The downtown location is tucked just off Main Street and is an absolute diamond in the rough the parking may be spotty at times but the food is definitely worth walking from the parking garage nearby. I got the Tre way and it is phenomenal genuinely an amazing sandwich. The bread is fresh the pickled Vidalia onions are sweet with just a slight bit of acidity the glaze on the burnt ends and pork belly is absolutely fantastic there's a good reason their featured on the Food Network. You can't fake the funk and baby im grooving 10/10 bring your in-laws here, bring your extended family, bring your neighbors everyone should experience a tasty sandwich such as this!
